August's challenge was "Reflections." Some of the members created projects which followed the theme.
Linda made a wall quilt having fall leaves reflected in water.
Tam created a wall quilt with reflecting butterflies.
Jane made "Dew Drop View," using silk with Sharpee markers spritzed with 90% rubbing alcohol.

Marguerite made this Santa & reindeer using machine embroidery.
Marguerite made this sunrise wall quilt, using fabric mosaic under tulle.
She also made a ducks and cattails quilt using watercolor quilting with applique on top.

Dave experimented with weaving fabric strips to make a quilt top.
Tam made a wall hanging with flower appliques. She used free-motion thread drawing when quilting it.
Jane made a 90th Anniversary wall hanging for Samaritas. She used two t-shirts the company had made to celebrate their anniversary. She added flowers from a tee she had.
Mary made Christmas coasters to match mugs.
She also made jar openers for Christmas presents.
