February Show and Tell

We missed our January meeting because of the weather.

Following are projects members have been working

on this year.

Sue made a Washi paper bouquet.

Mary made a 3-D poinsettia wall hanging.

Nancy made a Coptic binding book.  She used paste paper, she created, on the cover.

Nancy also made bound book with a paste paper cover.

Dave made 6 quilts which he is donating to Sleep in Heavenly Peace.  He used curved piecing on the bright block of this quilt.

In this quilt, he used a duck and dog theme.

Dave made this quilt using the disappearing pinwheel block.

Machine embroidered blocks were used in this quilt.

Dave made this scrappy quilt using disappearing pinwheels.

Dave used a computer program to design this sun and tree quilt.

Margaruite made 4 quilts for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.  She used rail fence blocks and embroidered blocks in this quilt.

She strip-pieced this quilt and then added the butterflies to make it more interesting.

Margarite used Australian fabrics in this scrappy quilt.

A friend gave Margaruite the top for this quilt.  She practiced different quilting motifs when making it. (The colors were much darker, the camera lightened them)

Margaruite made this states wall quilt using machine embroidery and applique.

Margaruite made this Upper Peninsula row by row quilt.

This is Jane's bright grasshopper wall hanging.

Jane also made this black and white grasshopper wall quilt.

Jane made this patriotic strip quilt for the veterans at the
 VA Hospital.
