May Show and Tell

This month our theme was stripes.
 
 
Wanda made a self-portrait quilt using some striped fabric.
 
 
 
 
Linda used striped fabric in her fish wall quilt (still under construction)
 
 
 
 
 
Dave used stripes in making his quilt with a panel in the center.
 
 
 
 
Marguerite used the same panel in her quilt.
 
 
 
Marguerite made this optical illusion table runner.
(All the blue fabrics are the same color)
 
 
 
 
 
Alice made the bunny ears with chenille, in this pillow, for the challenge.
 
 
Alice also made a reversible patriotic wall quilt for the challenge.

April Show and Tell

March Show and Tell

The No Rules Quilter's didn't have a topic this month.
These are the projects the members shared.
 
Jane completed her "Dear Jane" quilt for her son.  She has been working on the quilt for 22 years.  Jane hand pieced her quilt using English Paper Piecing, there are 5779 pieces in the quilt top.
 
 
Each block is 4.5 inches.

 
The quilt was hand quilted by a quilter from Fairview.

 
The small triangles in the center star are amazing.

 


 
Mary completed wall hanging for another quilt group's challenge.  
The challenge involved using this fabric.

Alice shared many projects she made using men's ties.
