June Show and Tell

There was not topic for June.  Below are projects members shared.
 
Wanda made these two wall hangings to practice quilting skills.
 

Wanda made this table mat and has auditioned two different center flowers.
 


 
The dimension in the pink flower was made using this product.
 
 
Wanda made this modern quilt using twelve 5 inch
 colorful squares and white fabric.


 
 
Nancy shared 10 Sunbonnet Sue blocks made by her grandmother.
 



Katy shared this white modern mat which is hand stitched with colored thread.
 


Katy also made this gold on off-white mid-century modern wall quilt.
 





Karen is making 4 seasons of whimsical ladies.  These are spring and summer.

Joyce revamped her scissor holders to include a catch.

Alice made candy bag zipper bags. They
are covered and lined with vinyl.
 

  
Alice also made this zipper bag using a paper bag from the Grand Hotel. 
She lined it with their tissue paper cover with vinyl.

May Show and Tell

This month our theme was stripes.
 
 
Wanda made a self-portrait quilt using some striped fabric.
 
 
 
 
Linda used striped fabric in her fish wall quilt (still under construction)
 
 
 
 
 
Dave used stripes in making his quilt with a panel in the center.
 
 
 
 
Marguerite used the same panel in her quilt.
 
 
 
Marguerite made this optical illusion table runner.
(All the blue fabrics are the same color)
 
 
 
 
 
Alice made the bunny ears with chenille, in this pillow, for the challenge.
 
 
Alice also made a reversible patriotic wall quilt for the challenge.
