April Show and Tell

 The following projects were shared by members at the April meeting.

Mary made Knuffle Bunny for her grandson for Easter.  The bunny was made using Velboa faux fur which has a very short nap.  The bunny is a character in a series of children's books written by Mel Willems.

Joyce made some projects using cross stitch she found.

This is her God Bless America pillow.

A Halloween pillow

Joyce also made this Halloween wall quilt.

Joyce designed the pattern for the following table runner.

Dave made this quilt for Sleep in Heavenly Peace using applique and machine embroidery.

Dave also made this quilt using a windmill panel.  The first photo shows a close up of the 3strands of yarn couched to make the black lines.

Tam made a chicken and egg wall quilt from a dish towel

 and added borders.

The back was also from the towel.

Jane shared a hand-woven bag.  She made it 

 on a cardboard loom in the 1970"s.
