July Show and Tell

There was no topic for July.  Members shared projects they have been working on.

Tam made this colorful scrap quilt for the Habitat for Humanity Auction this fall.   Tam drew up the pattern after seeing another quilt with similar log cabin blocks.

Mary made this tote bag a niece who is a hospice nurse.

Mary made this wall quilt for a new great niece.  The quilt was designed to coordinate with a flower of the month cross stitch made by the baby's great grandmother.  The flowers are grandmother's garden pattern, and the fabrics are reproduction 30's fabric.

Mary made the following hot pads for the Habitat for Humanity Buy It Now Booth.

These are the African fabric scraps Kathy is using on a paper pieced quilt.

This is Kathy's colorful quilt in progress.

Marguerite's 11-year-old grandson made these pillows for himself and his brothers.

He had some technical help from Grandma.

Marguerite made this reversible block of the month quilt for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

This is the back.

The Spring Flowers quilt was made by Marguerite for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

This Rail Fence quilt was also made by Marguerite for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Sue shared three quilts which she is donating to the Habitat for Humanity Auction.

1.  A Lattice Pattern Quilt.

2.  A reversible floral window panel quilt.

3. Red and white star quilt.

Sue also made herself this beautiful bed size quilt,
using batik fabric.

The Habitat for Humanity Buy it Now Booth is also benefiting from Linda's work.

Linda made some silk covered bangle bracelets.

Linda also made two red and blue rope baskets for the booth.

Jane made two train themed quilts for Habitat for
Humanity Auction.
