Silhouettes

The No Rules Quilters'  theme for April was "silhouettes".

Linda made the following purple and orange silhouette inspired by Picasso's "The Acrobat".

In 2002, Wanda created this African landscape silhouette with elephants.

In 1972, Jane made this batik on cotton velveteen in a textile design class at MSU.
It was just recently quilted.

This teal/lavender elephant silhouette applique was created by Tam.

"Evening Stroll", a silhouette of bears and trees, was made by Joyce.

Julie made the banner, "Juju's Sweatshop" with a sewing machine silhouette.

Other projects were shared by members.

Julie was inspired by an Ansel Adams' photograph to make this black and white
landscape of the Grand Tetons and the Snake River.

Barb shared the following applique blocks for a quilt in progress.

Pat knitted this scarf made with sock yarn.
