Linda has been busy making baskets using batik scraps.
(She says she is "not at the end of my rope yet 😍")
Below are some of her beautiful projects.
Jane made this butterfly quilt from blocks embroidered by a friend's grandmother.
The friend is giving it to her granddaughter.
Jane has been collecting black/white/red pieces for this 24" X 24"
I Spy quilt for several years.
This machine embroidered flower was included in a donation of quilt stuff that
came in to Jane's church. Jane added the skinny borders and quilted it.
Eventually it will be in the Habitat auction.
Jane used fabrics from her stash to make doll blankets.
She added satin ribbon bindings.
The hand embroidered pineapple was also a donation.
Jane quilted it and made it into a pillow.
Jane made luncheon-size place mats, napkins and a center mat
from leftovers from a larger quilt.
Jane also made these pillows and quilt from donated fabric.
Jane was asked to make some items from the
ties of a man who had died.
She made 18 key chains.
Bracelets
Jane made this small wall hanging using a paper pieced pattern, "Flamingo Moon".
The pattern was by Brenda Groetz who came to the
Piecemakers Guild many years ago.
Jane has had requests to make some leather passport cases.
Karen completed this beautiful counted cross stitch project she started in December.
It hangs in her 5th wheel.
The two following scrappy quilts are examples of the six quilts Dave recently made to donate.
The are all 52" x 52". They went to the Mills Township Fired department in Midland county.
Material Mart Fabric Shop in Midland is collecting quilts this year for four different organizations. The first quarter of this year is the Fire Department. The three other organizations are Auburn Fields, in Auburn, an assisted living facility, Candelstone, another assisted living facility and finally Medilodge Nursing Home in Midland.

Nancy liked the touch of red in her monoprint.
The following three photos are of a project Nancy started in April and finished in September. Nancy calls it 9 Arches. It is made of her discard prints, each block is 1 3/8". Nancy's years of quilting are very much a part of this work.
Nancy is taking a class called iphoneography with Armin Mersmann. The studens take their own photos and use different apps to change them. This was a picture of apples floating in the sink while Nancy was making applesauce. Opportunity is everywhere!
