More Projects During Quarantine

Barbara made this quilt during quarantine.

Barbara also made this beautiful shawl.  She commented that she "
finish up a little yarn. Seems the more I use the more I have!"  😊

Projects During Quarantine

We haven't been meeting because of Covid, so some members are sharing projects they have been working on for the past 11 months.

This sofa quilt was made by Linda using her own design.  Linda used odds and         ends  of fabric she had on hand.

This fish is Linda's  own design. It is an attempt to create an art quilt similar to Laura Heines work. Small beads have been added to represent air bubbles. “Goldie in the sea with diamonds.”

Linda made this quilt, titled " Corona".

Jane took a class through Piecemakers quilt guild in 2000. The top was pieced a few years ago and finally quilted by Judy Ettema from Belaire. She did the binding using Mary's two piece binding forming the small flange.

Jane made this quilt for her newly found second cousin from New Orleans.
They  connected through Ancestry DNA testing.

The long arm quilting was done by Judy Ettema from Belaire.

Jane made "
Dance of the Dragonflies" from a kit.

Jane made this quilt called "Corona".

This is her label.

Mary made this quilt for her daughter-in-law's birthday.

Mary also made this quilt using her own design.

She also designed the back.

Being quarantine inspired Mary to make this small wall quilt.
She printed the prayer on the background fabric on the computer.

Mary made this baby quilt for charity.

Mary made this wall hanging for a nephew's new son.

This is "Clifford",  Mary made him for her grandson's third birthday.
She used the same pattern she had used for his dad's Humphrey dog about 40 years ago.

Mary made a number of Christmas trees for gifts.
Her daughter requested one with a hat and smile.

It seems appropriate that it should also have a mask this year.
